Master Mind Daycare offers a variety of learning and play-based activities, including Reading, Writing and Literacy Skills, Math, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.). Children also take part in Mindfulness, Yoga, Meditation, Dramatic Play, Gardening, and Public Speaking in a creative, collaborative setting where they interact with peers and learn from one another. The daycare program includes activities that prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond, and it also offers an engaging activity-focused summer camp program.

Master Mind Daycare is an early childhood development initiative with a curriculum based on 40 years of teaching experience. The program was created to bring the inner mastermind out of each child, with a curriculum that is relevant to future learning and geared towards each particular age group so children can learn at their own pace. Children are treated as individuals with their own learning capabilities, with a focus on each child's unique skill set and on positive, influential habits and activities suited for their age. The program’s stated goal is to teach children to think differently, enjoy learning, and open their minds to become more intuitive about their surroundings, while they learn positive socialization skills and how to effectively and efficiently solve problems. Enrichment skills are described as learning tools that instill character and can be used inside and outside the classroom.
Master Mind Daycare was founded by April Ryans, a resident of the Harford County, Maryland area. April received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, then earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and she is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Psychology from Capella University.
The program’s mission is to empower the minds of young children so that they can grow and develop positively while exploring the world around them through lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.). The S.T.E.A.M. curriculum is geared towards each particular age group, allowing each child to learn at their own pace, and is described as preparing them for a well-rounded future. Master Mind Daycare caters to families in Darlington, Benson, and Harford County.
